Ingredients
3piecescubed steak, cut into quarters
Worcestershire sauce
Cajun seasoning
Peanut or Vegetable oil
2cupsflour for dredging
Salt and Pepper
6slicesprovolone cheese, halved
2cupscaramelized onions
1 12-pack Pepperidge Farm® Sweet and Soft slider buns
Instructions
In a large skillet, pour enough oil to cover the bottom well and turn burner to medium-high. Sprinkle meat pieces with Worcestershire sauce and Cajun seasoning.
Stir salt and pepper into flour, then dredge meat pieces in the flour and pat flour onto meat. When oil is hot, carefully place each meat piece in the skillet and cook 3-4 minutes. Using a spatula, turn the meat pieces over and allow to cook another 3-4 minutes. You may want to flip one more time and cook for another minute if you see red juices on the top.
Remove meat from skillet when done and place on a paper-towel lined plate. Top each meat piece with a half-slice of provolone cheese.
Open buns on one side and place a piece of meat and top with a scoop of caramelized onions.
Serve sliders on a tray with your choice of accompaniments. I like barbecue sauce, spicy mustard, ketchup, pickles, and chips.
