Ingredients

all-purpose flour

baking powder

Topping

light brown sugar

boiling water
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350. Lightly butter an 8-inch baking dish or pan.
Mix flour, baking powder, salt, granulated sugar, and 4 tablespoons cocoa in a medium bowl. Whisk until well blended.
Add butter, milk and vanilla and whisk until blended. Pour batter into prepared dish.
Whisk together brown sugar and 4 tablespoons cocoa. Sprinkle over batter.
Slowly pour boiling water over the topping until the dish is completely covered in water. Use all the water.
Bake about 30 minutes or until center is lightly set. The cobbler will still jiggle so don't overcook.
