These air fryer pizza roll-ups are fast, crispy, and full of flavor. You just roll up tortillas with sauce, mozzarella, and pepperoni, then brush them with garlic butter before air frying. They come out golden and cheesy, with just the right amount of crunch. Kids love them, and they’re easy enough to throw together any night of the week.

My oldest grandson loves pizza rollups, and I love how easy this version is to make! If you don’t have an air fryer, you can bake them in the oven but they won’t be crispy and will take a bit longer.

Testing results for air fryer pizza rollups

  1. We tried this recipe using one piece of string cheese but found that the shredded mozzarella melts better than the solid cheese.
  2. The garlic butter and melted cheese on top really make this recipe delicious. You can omit both of those for a less messy roll up, but we suggest grabbing some napkins and just digging in!

Ingredient notes

Here are a few things to know about the ingredients in this recipe.

Flour tortillas: For best results, use 10-inch tortillas.

Pizza sauce: Store-bought works great in this recipe.

Mozzarella cheese: If using pre-shredded cheese, get the kind that has a little cream cheese added for melting purposes.

Pepperoni: You can use cooked sausage or ground beef as a substitute for pepperoni.
