With its stunning beaches and sunny days, Cancun has always been a top choice for an oceanside getaway in Mexico. As a way to distinguish itself, Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach has taken the convenient experience of an all-inclusive vacation and given it an upscale touch for food-lovers.

Fabulous Dining Experiences

A dozen distinct restaurants and bars on-site have a range of offerings: the  AAA Five-Diamond French cuisine at Le Basilic, upscale Mexican cuisine (and entertainment) at La Joya, and the fresh seafood and view of the Caribbean Sea at Isla Contov.

Most exciting is a new experience: The Table, a unique dining journey with 12 courses and 360 degrees of visual delights that take you on a trip through Mexico’s cultural history. (note that some of these experiences are upgrades to the all-inclusive price)

Dishes served during The Table experience are works of art themselves and often include video moving across your food.

All the senses get a treat at The Table experience at Grand Fiesta, where an ever-changing video, music, and multi-course meal take you through the history of Mexico and its rich culinary history.

Other dining options include La Joya, one of the most popular restaurants at Grand Fiesta, with exclusive tequilas, festive entertainment, and authentic Mexican cuisine.

And don’t forget breakfast! The buffets at Grand Fiesta offer the opportunity to include chili relleno, watermelon smoothies, and barbacoa as a start to the day, while you enjoy the extraordinary views of the Gulf of Mexico.

As a sophisticated upgrade to any visit to the resort, the multi-course dinner at Le Basilic presents French cuisine with a bit of a locally sourced twist, such as this filet mignon and potatoes au gratin. Perfection 👌🏻

If you’re looking for something special, the Grand Fiesta also offers pop-up cooking experiences, which might include learning how to make Mucbilpollo (a tamale stuffed with chicken) from a local Mayan woman—then enjoying the Mexican favorite for lunch afterwards.

Inside the Grand Fiesta Americana

The Grand Fiesta’s restaurants are reason enough to spend several days here (don’t forget to make advance reservations), but there’s plenty more to explore.

The 40,000 square foot Gem Spa is a standout; high ceilings, Italian mosaics and marble everywhere provide a sophisticated architectural background, and don’t miss the 10-step hydrotherapy ritual (a complimentary add-on to any treatment or as a stand-alone activity).

The gorgeous oceanside pool offers three swim-up bars, and there are numerous on-site water sports such as jet skis and paddleboards. The resort’s location is also convenient to a ferry with multiple departures to Isla Mujeres, a colorful island 15 minutes away by boat.

As a luxurious add-on, some guests may want to splurge on the Infinite Club. Similar to other hotel’s club levels with its own twists, these posh suites and amenities have numerous perks that come with it. The Infinite Lounge is a quiet enclave with lovely panoramic views of Cancun and an ever-changing assortment of cocktails, coffee, and light meals and snacks.

More than 600 oceanfront rooms at Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach in Cancun deliver on views of turquoise Caribbean waters and swanky pool experiences.

Rooms and features:

  • The grand suite offers a luxurious place to relax, with spacious decks, a stocked mini-bar, and access to a private lounge level.
  • The “sensation pool” in the resort’s spa is like a giant hot tub with extras, surrounded by stunning architectural features. It’s a don’t-miss.

Consider that Travel & Leisure magazine named Mexico as the Destination of the Year for 2022 as proof of it being more than a suntan-and-margarita spot; this diverse country has so much history and a variety of cuisines to explore. Cancun is part of the richly storied Yucatan Peninsula, home to the Mayans, and it’s also a destination quick and convenient from many parts of the U.S.

The Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach is ready and waiting for you to explore the Yucatan while enjoying some of the best cuisine in Mexico.
