Y’all know Southerners love our pork! Give us barbecue, ribs, pork tenderloin, baked ham, bacon, breakfast sausage, grilled sausage…you name it, and we cook it and eat it! Everything in this collection uses the oven, a skillet, or the slow cooker because I’m not much of a griller. You’ll find pork chops five different ways, oven-pulled pork, baked ribs in foil, a bourbon-glazed ham, navy bean and ham soup, and two bacon recipes I make anytime company is coming.

The pork chops are quick enough for a weeknight, and the pulled pork and the ham both feed a crowd with plenty left over. The braised shoulder and the cider-brined roast take longer, but most of that is hands-off oven time.
